Detail:

The use of Coercive and Controlling Behaviour (CCB) within an intimate or family relationship is a criminal offence in England and Wales. This training session will support professionals to better understand the dynamics of coercive control, equip them to spot the signs of coercion and enable them to relate this to risk.

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the behaviours that might constitute coercive control
  • Identify how coercive control links with risk
  • Provide initial support to victimes and refer on appropriately
