Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton (HIPS) Safeguarding Children
Partnerships will launch the new HIPS Child Exploitation toolkit on Tuesday 10th October 2023 to support professionals working with young people and their families in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight areas.
This toolkit has been produced to support a co-ordinated approach to preventing child exploitation (CE), and improve the identification, protection, and support for victims, survivors, and their families. It has been created to improve the ways in which children’s needs and risks are understood, recognised and responded to at all stages.
Attendance from partner agencies across the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Safeguarding
Children Partnerships is encouraged. Learning will be relevant for professionals from operational to senior management roles.
Delegates attending the free launch event will achieve the following learning outcomes:
