Virtual training, webinars and e-learning

HSCP has developed a suite of eLearning modules, webinars and virtual training to allow professionals/practitioners continued access to safeguarding training. Face-to-face training is now being incorporated back into the programme.

All multi-agency courses are fully funded for professionals working with children who live in the Hampshire local authority area.

Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton Violence Reduction Partnership will launch the new Serious Violence Toolkit on Tuesday, 19 March 2024 to support professionals working with individuals and their families impacted by serious violence in the Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton areas.

This toolkit has been produced to support a co-ordinated approach to tackling and preventing serious violence and understanding its root causes. The serious violence duty means that all partners, statutory and non-statutory have a part to play to reduce violence. This toolkit will explain what that means to you and your organisation.

Attendance from partner agencies across the Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton Safeguarding Children Partnerships and Adult Boards is encouraged. Learning will be relevant for professionals from operational to senior management roles.
