HIPS Child Sexual Abuse Toolkit Tour

Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton Safeguarding Children Partnerships will provide a tour of the Child Sexual Abuse Toolkit for professionals on Wednesday 11 June 2025 to support professionals working with young people and their families in the Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton local authority areas. 

The toolkit was produced to support professionals in their role in identifying, protecting and supporting children who suffer child sexual abuse. The toolkit provides professionals with information and a range of practical tools and resources.

The tour will be held via two sessions on MSTeams on Wednesday 11 June, at 10.00-11.00 and 3.30-4.30 to showcase the contents of the toolkit.  

Attendance from partner agencies across the Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton Safeguarding Children Partnerships is encouraged. Learning will be relevant for professionals from operational to senior management roles.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of this session you will be able to: Understand how the toolkit can support professional practice. Consider how the practical tools can support you in identifying and responding to child sexual abuse. Know how to access training for professionals in your local area and access resources and support for children and their families. Be able to access local and national learning to inform your practice.
