A Family Approach is one that secures better outcomes for children (including unborn babies), adults
with care and support needs, children and their families by co-ordinating the support they receive
from Adult and Children and Family Services. This introductory course will explore how support provided by services should be focused on problems affecting the whole family. The course is available to all professionals working and volunteering with children and young people, including schools, nurseries, health colleagues and social worker/family support workers.
What previous delegates have said about this course:
“The family approach was new to me, so I have learnt a lot in this webinar. It has triggered a reflection on how I can be more strength based in my approach to working with families.”
“Really interesting and well-presented course. The delivery of the presentation found the perfect balance between informative, engagement and timespan for an online course. I will definitely recommend it to colleagues.”
