Detail:
Domestic abuse and coercive control can continue and even escalate after a relationship has ended. This course seeks to introduce Hampshire professionals to 'Post Separation Abuse' and, in particular, to how professionals can protect children from negative immediate and long-lasting effects that could occur.
What previous delegates have said about this course:
“It was extremely important to learn how children are now recognised as victims of domestic abuse.”
“I have learnt about CAFCASS and the process of going through the courts for access. This is really relevant to my work, and I feel more confident having more knowledge on the subject now.”
“Excellent! Really engaging and informative. I have learnt so much and wish this could be given to all staff in school as well as other agencies!”
