Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain an understanding of forms of domestic abuse which may continue after a relationship has ended, including coercive control
  • Understand the longer-term nature of coercive control within domestic abuse cases
  • Gain an understanding of risk factors following separation and safety planning options for child contact
  • Develop knowledge around child arrangement orders and continuing abuse
  • Identify sources of support and how to signpost to support
