Detail:

Child-on-Child abuse is abuse that occurs between children and young people of a similar age or similar developmental stage. Adults working with children need to be able to identify harmful behaviours and this webinar will develop delegates understanding of what harmful behaviours might look like and how to respond appropriately. Child-on-Child abuse can be experienced in wide ranging settings - at home, in school, online and in public spaces, so this course will be valuable to a similarly wide-range of professionals and volunteers working with Hampshire's children.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Reflect on the types of Child-on-Child violence you have witnessed and consider definitions, context and prevalence
  • Learn how to recognise Child-on-Child violence
  • Discuss what to consider when responding to Child-on-Child violence from an individual and systemic perspective
  • Embed learning through case examples
