HIPS - VIRTUAL HSCP - Lunchtime Learning - Introduction to Children Who Go Missing from Home/Care
Date & Time:
It is known that children who go missing from home or care are at risk of suffering harm and there are specific risks around children running away and the risk of sexual exploitation. This course will provide Hampshire professionals with an introduction to the police definition of 'missing', how to report a child or young person 'missing' and explore the risks that children might be exposed to whilst 'missing'. This course is open to all professionals working with children and young people, including schools, health colleagues and social worker/family support workers.
What previous delegates have said about this course:
“I feel more confident in addressing ‘going missing’ with YP and ensuring safe and well visits are completed in a timely manner by CSD.”
