Detail:
Children who need help and protection deserve high quality and effective support, which is built upon individual professionals, agencies, and organisations being clear about their own and each other’s roles and responsibilities, and how they work together to safeguard children.
This free virtual half-day course enables delegates to develop their knowledge and skills regarding multi-agency child protection and safeguarding. Delegates will explore what good partnership working looks like in practice, the role of the three safeguarding partners (the Police, the Integrated Care Board and the Local Authority) and the responsibility of all professionals whose work brings them into contact with children and families.
Through this training, delegates will gain a greater understanding of the relevant national guidance, local procedures and local frameworks that support safeguarding practice in Hampshire. The training will increase professional understanding of how the best outcomes for children are achieved by agencies working well together and remaining focused on the child.
This training is available to all professionals working with children and young people in Hampshire.
