HSCP are pleased to announce the return of the popular face-to-face ‘Briefings – Learning and Themes’ events across the Hampshire Local Authority Area between January and March 2023.

These 3-hour in-person sessions will combine short presentations from key speakers with practical discussion workshops and case study exploration. They aim to provide an effective forum for sharing resources, skills and expertise across agencies and to facilitate an open dialogue between HSCP and frontline practitioners to benefit children and families in Hampshire.

The events will be led by managers from Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership, they are free to attend for all Hampshire based professionals who work with or support children and their families.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Listen to learning from recent multi-agency case reviews
  • Discuss fictional case studies in multi-agency groupings
  • Share ideas, experiences, and common challenges with Hampshire professionals
  • Improve your understanding of agency roles and responsibilities
  • Explore HSCP toolkits and resources to support your work with children and their families
  • Feedback to the Partnership on how current multi agency training and toolkits are used in your setting
