Detail:
This new course will provide delegates with an introduction to the relatively recently defined and diagnosed eating disturbance - Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. The presenters will explore ARFID to help professionals understand warning signs, symptoms and risk factors as well as addressing how children and young people might be supported. The webinar is open to all professionals and volunteers working within Hampshire, but might be of particular interest to social workers, health professionals and education staff working with Hampshire's young people.
What previous delegates have said about this course:
“Great session. Very informative and it is clear that the presenter has a brilliant understanding and passion for this. Thank you!”
"Easy to listen to and was sufficient information for a bite size introduction to the subject, but covered enough to enable me to understand and recognise some symptoms of this disorder. Thank you."
