This course will support learning for all front line practitioners where a better understanding of trafficking and the National Referral Mechanism is needed. The webinar will support first responders to comply with their statutory responsibilities and to update on recent changes to the HIPS NRM reporting process.   

Learning Outcomes:

  • Provide a brief overview of the Modern Slavery Act 2015
  • Better understand the mechanisms of trafficking
  • Explain the application of the ‘National Referral Mechanism’ (NRM) for children and young people
  • Better understand your role and responsibilities
